Why do so many people say that Ninjutsu Bujinkan is fake/bogus etc? So many people disregard ninjutsu bujinkan, and label it as being crap etc, why is this? why are so many people against it? Is it due to the uncertainty of if your getting proper training? or the fact that ninjutsu wuld have been so well guarded by the people who trained in it back in the day?
Is Ninjutsu or Aikido better? In which do you get to train with weapons? Like wooden swords or real swords? Also do you wear hakama in both?

I've heard of many people who have teachers who can teach them, although it's terrible hard work. but we can endure it. So how can I find someone like that? A seriouse teacher...who only has a few serious students...and sometimes train in dangerous situations? sorry...don't think we're crazy. lol
Anybody know a good ninjutsu master in Durham? Im new to training and want to practice in a proper school. I have been informed that there are one or two close to but desire suggestion on how and where to train. It would be especially great if the school had wooden dummies or a martialarm to train on.
Ninjutsu Dojos? Hello, I have trained Ninjutsu so far only by reading books by Masaaki Hatsumi, and Ashida Kim, and watched training videos on Youtube. (LOL) Do ya'll know of any Ninjutsu Dojos in East Tennessee? I would prefer Bujinken Ryu Ninjutsu or Togakure Ryu Ninjutsu. Thanks.
Is Masaaki Hatsumi the last who trained at the old school way? By "old school way of training of Ninjutsu " I mean that old school way was more demanding in the physical sense. And I suppose Hatsumi adapted the old school training way to be suitable for most people nowadays. For example, it is logical that no one wants to get home hurt or injured after each training class. Moreover, most people don't have too much time available each day because they need to go to work.
Anybody know a good ninjutsu school in Coventry? Im new to learning and want to train in a proper school. I have been told that there are one or two just about but desire counsel on how and where to train. It would be especially great if the school had wooden dummies or a martialarm to train on.

Want to learn a little about ninjutsu and to-shin do? Just thought I'd paste some info from skhquest.com in hopes of providing accurate info for those with ninja or ninjutsu questions. Due to misrepresentation in movies and media by the late 1980s, the art of Japan's ninja was so misunderstood that the words "ninjutsu" or "ninja" blocked many people from considering training in our schools. The image of Japan's authentic ninja had become so tarnished that it seemed time to bring in a new wave of understanding for the 21st Century. The ninja arts have been misunderstood throughout Japan's history. In the 1800s, grandmaster Toshitsugu Takamatsu avoided awkward attention by referring to his ninja arts as happo-biken . In the 1900s, Masaaki Hatsumi came to call his ninja martial arts practice budo taijutsu. Taking the tradition into the first century of the 2000s, Stephen K. Hayes refers to his ninja art as To-Shin Do, of which he and his wife Rumiko are An-shu directors of the Kasumi-An At the heart of the martial techniques that we teach is the depth heritage of the original Togakure ninja invisible warriors. SKH Quest students are introduced to the original ways of the Togakure ninja through training in the highly practical physical, mental, and strategic skills of To-Shin Do. What is the difference between To-Shin Do and Bujinkan training? To-Shin Do is best explained as a way of training for self-defense and personal development that embodies everything the Bujinkan has to offer, PLUS a whole collection of training methods and insights that are important for 21st Century American students. Obviously, fights are different in modern America than they were in 1500s Japan. Masaaki Hatsumi has made it quite clear that it is not the job of Japanese masters to attempt to translate classical combat lessons into relevance for countries and cultures foreign to Japan. That is our job, and Stephen K. Hayes' genius is his ability to eliminate the need for all the guesswork when it comes to translating classical lessons into vibrant modern relevance. An-Shu Stephen K. Hayes has a unique ability to teach the classical exercises in ways that allow us to apply the essence of the kata to modern attack situations. An-Shu Stephen K. Hayes has said for years, "To-Shin Do is the greatest tribute I can pay to my teacher Masaaki Hatsumi. Training with Hatsumi Sensei in Japan opened my eyes and heart to vast realms of warrior truth that were inaccessible in the martial arts scene of late 1960s America. After immersing myself in training with Hatsumi Sensei in the 1970s and 1980s, my inspiration was bubbling over. This stuff was incredibly valuable, and I was captivated by the idea of translating the gift of Hatsumi Sensei's lessons into a form that could serve my own culture and people back in America."
Ninjutsu question...? Is there anywhere I can learn real ninjutsu...I mean like training to use your surroundings and what the Grand Master of Ninjutsu teaches? I read a book by some guy (sorry I forgot his name, ti was something Hayes) who went to train with Grand Master Hatsumi in Noda<Japan and he wrote of one instance when he had to use a certain part of his nose to sense how far water was from him. I want to learn that kind of ninjutsu, but is there anywhere I can outside of Japan? I've found many Ninjutsu schools that don't offer what I'm looking for though. According to Grand Master Hatsumi there is a way to sense how far water is using a certain part of you nose...I think he said if you focus on the the top, but I'm not sure.
Is it true that Dr. Hatsumi no longer accepts new students? I have trained some Ninjutsu, and read a few books by Dr. Hatsumi. I have heard that he no longer accepts new students?
Getting training question? Is it safe to asume that a 9th Dan Ninjutsu instructor will give me better training than a lower ranked instructor? Im looking for somewhere to train, I want to take it seriously and I want the best I can get, but I don't know what to look for, any tips? There are some sessions held in high schools after school hours and so on, but I asume I would be better off going to a dojo, fair call??
Are there Different Variations of Ninjutsu/Taijutsu, ect styles? Ever since I read a Manga (Basicaly comic book) called Basilisk I wondered. Cause there where different clan's fighting over who's stronger Koga and Iga. Anyways Im curious. anyone know of any books or Websites or DVD's on History/philosophy/and Application on how Ninja trained and there life styles? I'd Appreciate it much Thanks
What kind of martial arts do Navy Seals Practice? I personally take ninjutsu, and one of the students told me that the Navy Seals use ninjutsu to defend themselves (not necessarily trained in the whole art of ninjutsu, but use techniques from it). I know they probably take various things from different arts, but I just want to know if ninjutsu is effective enough to be used in special combat.
Would like some guidlines on finding a true Ninjutsu school? There is this school in my area (Sacramento, CA) named "A School of Ninjutsu" but then the reviews talk about something called "Bujinkan" and "Dojo". I know pretty much nothing about martial arts but want to learn Ninjutsu because I hear it is close to what Ninjas learned and want some serious martial arts training with straight to the point kicking ass skills. Non of that fancy crap. If you could give me some tips and guide lines in to how to know if a school is legit I would be very much obliged. (I also don't plan on going around kicking peoples asses. Plan on joining the military and would like to start learning to take care of myself now)

Ninjutsu acrobacy part? Someday I will study nunjutsu, I am atracted to its acrobacy and the sparring they develop. I have never been good at any acrobacy, I know martial arts are supposed to slowly train you to do this stuff, but is the acrobatic part something a guy like me can really get to develop?, I studied hapkido and TKD and currently enrolled in Judo, but only Hapkido had some acrobacy to it, like jumping 8 guys bending over, and I was really bad at this kind of stuff, they didn't have the spectacular moves from ninjutsu though. I just wanna know if "monkey guys" you know natural elastic natural agile, are the only ones who can make this work, or just about anyone studying ninjutsu.

Bujinkan Ninjutsu Dayton Ohio? I'm trying to find a place to train in Dayton. I'm into MMA, but a coworker, a black belt in Bujinkan, showed me some moves that looked really interesting. Could anyone look at these links and tell me if which one might be good and vice versa. Thanks. http://www.daytonbujinkan.com/ http://www.giyudojo.com/ http://www.daytonquestcenter.com/ which one?
All females should be trained in martial arts - major deterrent to male violence & sexual abuse - your ideas? Ideally this would begin as soon as young girls can crawl, gradually teaching according to their age capabilities and desterity, muscular control and so forth. It would be an incoporation of many different martial arts such as Karate, Kung Fu, Ninjutsu, Taekawndo, Aikido, Muay Thai, and work with weapons including spontaneous knife defence and so on. Continue this for at least until the females are legally adults and imagine the greater confidence and self-esteem, fitness and health they will have, not to mention the very thought in most guy's heads of trying to attack a girl or woman physically, sexually etc should be much reduced, as should the number of attacks and the number of attacks where the man or male doesn't come out of it worse i.e., in hospital or with a toe tag laying in the morgue.

What should I choose as a beginner? Hi there. I've recently decided to get back into shape, and I'm soon going to be hitting the gym again and improve my fitness and build up muscle. In addition to normal weight training and cardio, I wish to take up a martial art to help me in these goals, as well as have the potential for self-defense. My university's Athletics Union offers the following clubs: Judo Karate Mixed Martial Arts and Appled Defence Muay Thai Ninjutsu Tukong Moosul I'm a very tall guy with a reasonably large frame, but who at present doesn't have much muscle. What would be most suitable for me in your opinions. I know most people will name their own discipline as being the best, but I'd like to hear some opinions in any case. Thanks in advance.

What makes Pein so powerful? I think that Pein's lies in his Rinnegan. These eyes supposedly created ninjutsu and in my opinion allow Pein to create any Jutsu that he chooses. When Pein was known as Nagato, he was forced to fight a mist ninja and destroyed him. He brutally killed a skilled shinobi without any prior training or knowledge. Pein's power is unmatched by any! How anyone will be able to topple this monster i do not know, but it will certainly cause for a fantastic fight in the end. And as far as who is stronger between Madara and Pein, Pein will destroy him. I am sure that Pein could counter any Doujutsu that the sharingan could muster.
Martial arts? i'm going to train in martial arts very seriously and how do you think this plan sounds: get the 3rd belt in tkd(tae kwon do) get the 3rd belt in bjj(brazilian jiu jutsu) take kickboxing once or twice a week for cardio purposes get the 3rd belt in karate get the 3rd belt in kung fu and i'm going to try to get a black belt in which ever one i like best while i work on ninjutsu and get to the highest rank there. do u think it sounds okay and which parts should i correct? one more thing, i am not going to do muay thai. o and i might also take judo my logic is really weird so i'm taking all of them and i'm going to eventually merge them together into one style that fits me.
Sound off my Brothers!? This is for all martial artists out there.State your name,Art,years of exp,and how many times you train every week. This is just to stand up and let everyone know who you really are. (No jokes or lies in this list please) Jesse Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu(ninjutsu 7years 2/half hours a day,5days a week
Does the U.S. military train ninja? I heard a story several years ago about a secretive ninjutsu school in Washington State. If I remember correctly apon gradguating from this school you are considered so dangerous, that you're forced by law to serve several years in the military. I don't remember where I heard this story. Maybe it was just some movie plot that I mistoke for real. Anyway, does this ring a bell with anyone? If this isn't real, don't you think that it shoud be? Thanks.
Why is Orochimaru the strongest Sannin? How did he get this powerful? Orochimaru is powerful and handsome no offense... He is the most powerful out of the three, even if he is very evil. He even fought 4-tailed Kyuubi without getting killed. That is really, something that I call guts and power. Even though Sasuke knew didn't like Orochimaru and knew he was evil, he still chose to train with Orochimaru? Why...? Because he is the best Sannin out of the three! His knowledge of jutsus is limitless... I think the only reason he lost to Uchiha Itachi is because of his sharingan and his dreaded genjutsu. But in terms of knowledge and ninjutsu, Orochimaru is stronger than Itachi. For the record, even Sasuke didn't want to take much chances with Orochimaru, for example, he did attack him when he was sick - which was a very smart move. The only reason he lost to Jiraiya, and Tsunade is because he had no hands and was very sick. Not to mention he was figting 4 people (Jiraiya, Tsunade, Naruto and Shizune.) So what if he really acquires the sharingan? Orochimaru + Sharingan = major pwnage. No wonder he tries to acquire them by taking in painstaking and risky ways. But I am sure... that he will never acquire them! Is is my second favourite character in this whole series - My most favourite character is Sasuke! Is is my second favourite character in this whole series - My most favourite character, Sasuke! Is is my second favourite character in this whole series - My most favourite character, Sasuke!

Bujinkan Ninjutsu Dayton Ohio? I'm trying to find a place to train in Dayton. I'm into MMA, but a coworker, a black belt in Bujinkan, showed me some moves that looked really interesting.
