Ninjutsu Training Techniques

Can anyone tell me how i can solve the clue on chapter 10 of the Ninja Gaiden Black game?

I am stuck on chapter 10 of this game. I jump down to the cave look-a-like tunnel to the Hall of Balance without entering all the doors on the top (which means i may missed some important elements to help me play in the Hall of Balance room). Now i don't know what i should do to get on the top. In addition, I am stuck on the riddle of "the red pedisteal with a curved depession facing to the left" in the water room. Can anyone Ninja Gaiden Black game fan help me out here?
