Kama Tonfa Knives in general Escrima 6yr years of Moo Duk Kwan 2 months worth of FORMAL sword work, years of informal. lol Moo Duk Kwan has no weapon katas at all. Since my sensei got to Brown belt in Isshinryu, The Sai and Bo staff kata i know are from Isshinryu. I'm out of practice with most except for sword.
- No, no you didn't. you were LARPing.
- The weapons I train with are : my mind my body my spirit I have trained with: Bo, Jo, Hanbo, escrima sticks, butterfly swords, knives, and various firearms. Kajukenbo, I've been training for 25 years in various arts. kajukenbo is the art I currently practice and teach. I'm also in the military.
- A very intimidating list that you have there so feel a little under par when I say with honesty only the jo staff at the moment. Knife training gave that a lot of thought to for a defense only not to go hurting anyone. Karate, with an eye for Krav Maga but not many classes near me
- Iai-to - Iaido Jo - Jo-do
- many, any and all.my main weapons are my body,my brain and my oh hang on i dont use that one to fight with.lol.
- Jo staff Bokken 3 yrs. Aikido
- I train with various types of folding knives and household ones. Now to the lay person this may sound like a cutrate method but there's a reason for this. Most likely should you find yourself in an actual situation you will grab whatever is at hand and it won't always be a perfectly balanced special made weapon. Plus depending on various laws in your area if your knife is marketed as an implement for combat or self defense you can actually get in trouble for using it as opposed to a tool. I practice knife-fighting.
- Bo (long staff) Jo (short staff) Kali sticks Throwing Knives (includes fixed and folding blades) Folding Knives and Fixed Blade Knives Firearms Though I've been doing martial arts for many years and I am amazed by the really awesome sword, spear, and other styles of weapon arts, I am at heart a practical person. In my opinion these are the only practical weapons left to the modern human (at least in the US). Nobody carries around swords anymore, but lots of people have guns. With the Jo, Bo, and Kali sticks I just train in their traditional styles. With the Knives and Firearms I train in their use and disarmament. With the knives I train in competition against other knife fighters, because that is a common street weapon, I could easily come up against an opponent who also has a knife.
- Kama. Mixed martial arts. I mostly trained under my father and other family members
- Sticks/Clubs Knives (fixed and folding blades) Machetes Handguns Long Guns I train in Combatives, which covers most of these. Machetes are my personal hobby and favored melee weapon. I'm also an enthusiastic shooter.
- I train with my hands, feet, biceps, shins, legs, elbows, shoulders, palms of my hands, backs of my hands, ridge of my hands, basicaly what I'm telling you is I train with my whole body... your body is actually 1 big weapon. I take Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate Doh Jundokan.
