in naruto ultimate ninja, for ps2 what does three additional hits mean?

this question is from one of the genin missions from the naruto ultimate ninja game for ps2 and I really need the correct answer! plz help me! PLZ!!!!!!

And then hit O+left again to teleport behind them and hit them if they substitute behind you hit O+left again. These are counted as "blows". Later on, you'll have to do 6 of them against Zabuza. I was furious with the game too, with the bad explanation.
