  1. Lol, Naruto is not real.
  2. Um...possibly. But I'm sure that there aren't many. If at all.
  3. ninjitsu or bujikan schools in the u.s. are rare. if you can't find any near your area, then it's just not there. i know there are bujikan schools in japan and some in europe. there is one taekwondo blackbelt in my dojang that says he did ninjitsu in rhode island for a while. good luck finding a school.
  4. Go on Google maps and type in Ninjutsu and your town.
  5. Keep looking and if there arn't then you might have to move to China or Japan but i think you cna find something.
  6. Yes, there are quite a few "Ninja Schools" in the U.S. However, you should realize that they aren't called "Ninja Schools" and you don't train to become a "Ninja". It's a highly misunderstood concept. If you train as a "Ninja", you don't learn to disappear, and you don't learn to climb walls with your bear hands. You don't perform feats of superhuman strength or dexterity. I trained under the discipline of Genbukan Ninpo Bugei for several years. Here is their website: http://www.genbukan.org The headmaster is Shoto Tanemura (Tanemura Sensei) There is a drop down menu that allows you to select a state near you and locate their schools. If you don't find one, search for any one of these terms: Bugei, Masaaki Hatsumi, Stephen Hayes. Hatsumi Sensei is considered one of the world's experts dealing with the art of Ninjutsu.
  7. there are schools that teach some ninja stuff, but i don't know of any in US. Try an internet search

  11. Yes there are. However, you must know that they are now known as taijutsu or bujinkan schools. Follow the site's links to dojos in your area. Have a look at these sites, and good luck:
  12. There is but it doesn't really teach you the real ninjiutsu.
  13. Hi there I think it's been mentioned already but there are currently only 3 organisations that teach ninjutsu. They are The Bujinkan under the current Soke Hatsumi. http://www.bujinkan.com/ The Jinkenkan under Manaka who was once Hatsumi's highest student http://www.jinenkan.com/ The Genbukan. Not too sure about this one as there’s some confusion surrounding Tanemura's split from the Bujinkan. http://www.genbukan.org With regards to what is practiced these days it all comes under the generic name of taijutsu (natural body movement). The ninjutsu side is only a very small part of what we do but is what the Bujinkan is most famous for. This is not always a good thing. It’s very much a real martial art and we practice traditional forms and weapons from 6 of the 9 schools. The goal is to understand the principles from these and apply them naturally. The traditional ninjutsu comes from a school called togakure ryu. We practice escape methods (santo tonko no kata) and Biken jutsu (ninja sword) from this school. The sneaky stuff in the movies is mostly a load of rubbish but it is loosely based around Goton no Jutsu (using the 5 elements for entry and escape). You will find very few people practicing this outside of Japan as it doesn’t have much practical use today. But it is still part of what we do. If you want to learn a good martial art then taijutsu is excellent and it has loads of benefits. Just make sure the shidoshi you choose is registered with one of the above 3 organisations. You should try the following link to find a school in the U.S. www.ninjutsu.com Hope this helps Idai 1st Dan wado 2nd Dan bujinkan shidoshi ho and amatsu.
