Ninjutsu Training Techniques

What movies do you think have the best sword fights? Either Ninja or Katana swords. SciFi movies also?

My son and I go to Karate tournaments and do kumite fight sceans. This Yr. we have a competitor that come out of retirment to compeat with us. In the Grand Championships at Yrs. end We want a jaw droping fight with swords. I do not intend to loose. Can you assist us please. Thanks

2. Watch as many HK Kung-Fu movies as you can. There are tons of them out there. Email me if you'd really need some suggestions.
3. best swordfights... well iwould definitely check out the comedy, Princess Bride... i would also check out Pirates of the Caribbean and mortal kombat... these all may seem like ridicuolous choices, but watch them and study them, and be surprised
4. Maybe: Fearless (Jet Lee): based in true events. Star Wars: based in true events (hahaha). Other I don´t remember now (the best all times hahahaha)

6. I would say that one of the best "sword" fights I can actually think of would be in "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace". While a lot of special effects are used in the final fight scene, not so much is done with wires and flying effects, making it quite possible to perform. Also, "The Last Samurai" has quite a few nice sword fights. Since you're looking for Japanese style swords, I wouldn't suggest too many kung fu flicks (although I have a ton!), but would say even scenes from "Highlander" would do well. Good luck in the competition! Where is it being held?
7. Watch Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2.
8. Master of the Flying Guillotine. It has a bit of everything and it's all good!
