trying to find a 1980s ninja movie?

the only clip of the film ive seen is from an 80s night club in azusa, ca. it features police officers chasing a ninja through a somewhat arid environment. at one point in the scene the ninja throws ninja stars while on top of the police car at two motorcycle officers, killing both of them. he then uses his sword to stab one of the officers in car beneath him and then punches through the room to kill the driver. he is then seen swinging away with some sort of grappling hook while the police car careens off a hill. i hope my description of the scene can help you identify the movie im trying to find!

You're talking about American Ninja with Mike Dudikoff. He was also in Soldier Boyz in 1995.
